Cervical Cancer is a cancer of the mouth of the cervix. The cervix is the lower part of the uterus. Cells on the cervix begin to grow abnormally and, sometimes, if they are not treated, they can become cancerous.

Cervical cancer does not affect any "type" of woman. It could happen to any sexually active woman, young or old, in any part of the world, whether she loves in a one room apartment or in a bungalow, whether she's a school teacher or a corporate executive.

As per WHO, HPV vaccines are safe in lactation. As you visit your gynaecologist or paediatrician regularly for child's vaccination, it will be a good to club your child's and your vaccination on the same visit.
